Jessie Haas

American author, born in Vermont. Has written many books for a wide range of readers, from first reader's picture books upwards. She was brought up on a farm and had her first pony, Scamper, at the age of six. She began writing her first book whilst in college. Her love of horses has resulted in most of her books having a horsy theme, although there are one or two others which are not horsy.
